Start Here

Faith, strength, and hope through the storm through my cancer journey.

👋 Welcome, friend.

If you’re visiting my blog for the first time, I’m so glad you’re here. This space is where I share my journey with Multiple Myeloma—a form of blood cancer I was diagnosed with July 28th, 2025.

This blog is part journal, part processing, part faith journey—and it’s deeply personal. If you’re navigating something hard, I hope what you read here brings a little comfort, clarity, or connection.

A Personal Note to Those I Haven’t Told Yet

There are so many people I care about—family, friends, mentors, colleagues—who I deeply wanted to tell about my diagnosis in person. But the truth is, this journey has been overwhelming in ways I didn’t expect. The conversations are emotionally heavy, and sometimes, even when my heart wanted to reach out, I just didn’t have the energy or the words.

If you’re reading this and learning about my condition here for the first time, please know this:
It’s not because you’re not important to me.
It’s not because I didn’t want to tell you personally.
It’s just that some things are hard to say, and even harder to repeat over and over again.

This blog is my way of opening up and letting you in—of sharing the story when my voice may falter or my timing may be off.
I hope you’ll receive it with the love it’s written in. And I hope you’ll walk this road with me through these pages, knowing you are seen, valued, and appreciated more than you know.

With love and sincerity,
– Cynthia
